Personalism Theory is the fundamental study of individualist ideology, its social structure, and behavior patterns. A personalist, or individualist society, is the total opposite of totalitarian society. In this society, individualism is most valued and respected. This society cannot imagine risking one's self for the common good of others, or even for society. Accordingly, all working relationships between individuals are progressed in the form of contract labor. The success and expansion of society is based on the most productivity possible with maximum freedom. However, it is extremely difficult to bend individual workers in the direction which society wants to achieve, and consequently, overall productivity is significantly lower than other societies. Personalism Theory also deals with the position which individuals hold in society, the far reaching effects of these positionings, and examination of social structure.
