The linear programming process enabled problems to be interpreted linearly and processed. This simple programming structure was suited for mass production programming. However, because all problems could only be analyzed in the simplest of structures, this process possessed the weak spot of not being able to be utilized for general purpose work. The bigger the problem, the more variables occured - and this process required the computer's powers in geometric progressions, or accuracy became less accurate.
