When the one-dimensional approach became ineffective against the variables which were multiplying exponentially, a variable approximation principle closest to the non-linear physical world was developed. This principle could not be produced earlier because of the difficulty in approaching and analyzing non-linear objects. Until the principle was discovered, much preparation, development in theory, and time was needed. When this principle could be exercised freely, this non-linear approach method made rapid progress possible in the areas of volume measurement, distance approximation, and observation systems.
