A Permanent Engine is a formidable power-driven engine with the capability to work forever. The Law of Conservation of Energy argues that a Permanent Engine cannot exist, as the total amount of energy does not change, no matter what occurs in the natural world. However, by applying the theory of the Permanent Engine in the 4th, rather than the 3rd, dimension, it was possible to create an engine which was not perfectly permanent but came extremely close. By initially storing large amounts of energy before starting the energy cycling, a new permanent engine was developed, and used in space travel and the manufacturing industry, which required large amounts of energy.
