Following the advancements in genetic science, an application of genetics, genetic engineering, began to rapidly develop. Utilizing the functions, applications, and control of genes discovered in genetic science research as its base, genetic manipulation technology such as the re-compunding of genes and gene cloning were used to make life science manufacturing more efficient, and this in turn led to the increase in manufacturing of breeding techniques. Genetic engineering also led to the development of medical science, and many chronic diseases are cured using genetic engineering technology.
